This independent trial run by PastureFirst in Waikato, NZ was a plot replicated field trial conducted between October 2023 and February 2024 to evaluate the effect of EM Fert Enhance on maize yield.
The results showed a statistically significant increase in yield was achieved by using EM Fert Enhance - 34.1t, over the control - 30.0t. This increase of over 4tonnes shows how effective this product can be as a tool for farmers trying to enhance their growing systems.
Economics
Two applications of 10kg/ha were applied at a cost of $90/ha. The increase in yield was 4.1t with value of 28c/kg DM. This equates to an increase in Margin of $1148 minus product cost of $90 = total increase in prot of $1058 per ha. EM Fert Enhance can be blended with solid fertiliser mixes therefore reducing extra application costs and increasing farmer profits.
