This trial was designed to determine the effectiveness of EMNZ Foliar Solutions against a control on Wheat, at Seatons Farm, Aylesbury, Canterbury. Cropmark have independently harvested the trials using a precision plot harvester. This was performed blindly, just numbers, no treatment description. They provide plot weights and grain weights. Data was then analyzed statistically. A statistically signi cant increase in yield was achieved for all EMNZ products over the control.
EM Foliar Enhance was the top treatment with 9.1t, followed by EM Amino and EM Soil and Crop at 8.8t and Plant-Stim 8.7t. In addition the grain weight for all EMNZ products was signi cantly higher than the control, indicating increased plant vigour to ensure better grain development. Screenings were also greatly reduced, using EMNZ products con rming enhanced grain development, with EM Foliar Enhance again leading the way in this aspect.

Statistical Significance
The Foliar Enhance treatment yielded approximately 9.1 t/ha compared with the untreated control at approximately 7.2 t/ha.
This represented a yield increase of around 26%. The difference was statistically significant at the 95% confidence level (P < 0.05) based on the ANOVA/LSD analysis.
Economics
A 1.9 t/ha yield increase equates to approximately $760/ha additional revenue at a wheat price of $400/t, providing a substantial return on investment from a relatively low-cost foliar programme.
Key Findings
-
Yield
Increase of 26% over the control and a DM yield increase of 1.9t/ha
-
Higher Grain Quality
Improved grain quality by increasing TGW and reducing screenings, resulting in better grain fill, improved uniformity and greater marketable yield.
-
Commercial Relevance
EMNZ Treatments increase profit by upto +$700 per ha
